BENCHMOB TOTALS: 29 points, 10 rebs, 5 ast, 4 stl and 2 blocks
BM GAME WRAP: “It’s not the size of the Dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog that matters.”
If you’re into cartoons this game could have been titled “Superman” vs. “Mighty Mouse”, and in this case, the little guy won. Playing with a bruised left elbow, the result of hitting the deck Wednesday night on a foul by the Pistons’ Damien Wilkins. D.Rose wore a protective sleeve, but it was tough to tell if the injury affected him (he finished with 21 pts, 10 ast, 8 reb, 2 stl, 1 blk).
“I thought (Rose) had a really good command of the game,” Thibodeau said. “He did a great job of play-making and when he needed to score, he scored.”
The Bulls showcased yet another solid defensive effort, and featured a balanced scoring attack. In addition to Rose, both Carlos Boozer (20 pts, 13 reb, 2 ast, 1 blk) and Loul Deng (21 pts, 4 reb, 5 ast, 1 stl) reached 20-plus points. In addition to the Bulls “big 3”, The Bench Mob’s own Kyle “Hot Sauce” Korver seemed to have found his stroke again, connecting on 5-7 three-point attempts and finishing with 18 points.
The Bulls (7-1) are off to their best start since winning 12 of 13 to open the 1996-97 season. The latest victory began a brutal stretch for Chicago that includes seven games in nine nights. The Bulls will travel to Atlanta to take Hawks Saturday, January 7th at 6:00pm (cst).

‘MOBBER OF THE NIGHT (MoN): Kyle “Hot Sauce” Korver regained his form and was on fire in this one. In 31 minutes of action, he finished with 18 point on 6-8 shooting (5-7 from deep), 2 boards, 2 dimes and 3 steals. This is a great sign of things for the Bulls and The Bench Mob if the “Hot Sauce” continues to pour it on!
